| Ten years ago, I moved to Davis, California, took a ceramics class at the UCDavis Craft Center, and have been elbow-deep in the mud ever since. I now have a small studio in my Davis home where I fill orders for dinnerware, serving ware, tea sets, lamps, and many other functional and decorative items. |

I've fixed up a large garden shed in my backyard which serves as the permanent showroom and store for my work. |

I currently teach beginning and continuing wheel-throwing classes for young folks and adults at the non-profit Davis Art Center. |

I also work with hand-made papers and do some illustration. When I'm not in the studio or teaching classes, I work part-time as an independent archaeological consultant on various types of projects throughout northern California. |

He travels around the country performing in various venues and giving songwriting workshops to people of all ages [Dave's site]. We have a wonderful dog (Fender) and cat (Gulliver) and our daughter Sophia. |
